Hall of Fame
Thomas E. Dolde (1960) was a three-sport athlete at The Rock.
He received four letters as a guard and middle linebacker, served as team captain and earned "Outstanding Player" and second-team all-state honors in football. Dolde also lettered two seasons as a member of the 440 and mile relay teams and was on The Rock's first intercollegiate wrestling team.
Following graduation from The Rock, Dolde had a 346-116-6 record in 27 seasons as head wrestling coach at Connellsville High School and coached 18 section championship teams in the span of 20 seasons (1976-96). His teams won two WPIAL titles and were runners-up on four occasions.
Dolde also served 36 seasons as defensive coordinator for Connellsville's football team and played a major role in the 1991 WPIAL championship season.
