Slippery Rock University Athletics

Denny Tilko (1974) was an outstanding offensive tackle on Rock football teams that won an unprecedented three conference championships in succession. He started every game for four years at The Rock and was recognized as the leading offensive lineman during the 1971-73 era, in which The Rock put together a 23-6-1 record that included a pair of NCAA bowl appearances. Tilko was selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America in 1981.
