Quentin Currie (1962) was the first graduate assistant football coach in Rock history. As a graduate student, he also served as an instructor in Health and Physical Education and intramural director.
As an undergraduate, Currie was a four-year letterwinner as offensive center on the football team. He earned second-team All-PSAC and all-district honors, third-team Associated Press all-state honors and was co-captain of The Rock's PSAC championship team as a senior in 1961.
