Slippery Rock University Athletics

Darrell Hess (1954) was Slippery Rock's first sports information director during his undergraduate years. Often referred to as "The Toastmaster General of the Steel Valley," he retired in 1982. He was honored in 1978 by the Dapper Dan Club for his work with youth and charities.
