Kory Fielitz Rorabaugh (1994/1998) earned NCAA Division II All-America honors as a member of The Rock women’s basketball program. She is also the school’s all-time leading rebounder (961) and No. 2 all-time scorer (1,694).
Rorabaugh earned three All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors and was the conference’s “Rookie of the Year” in 1990-91.
Rorabaugh had career averages of 16.3 points per game, 9.2 rebounds per game, .496% shooting from the field, and .763% shooting from the line. She was the leading scorer for The Rock in both her junior and senior seasons. Rorabaugh also led The Rock in rebounding in all four years.
She completed her undergraduate degree in 1994 and earned her second degree four years later, becoming a cum laude graduate in 1998.
Following graduation, she taught physical education and coached girls’ basketball in the North Allegheny School District. In that capacity, she was a nominee for Disney National Teacher’s Award in 2001 and earned the “Who’s Who Among American Teachers” honor in 2002.
Rorabaugh a native of Akron, Ohio, then became a middle school teacher and head girls’ basketball coach at her alma mater, Revere High School.
