Jim McElhaney (1964) was a record-setting All-America wide receiver in football at The Rock and now coaches the Rock receivers. He led The Rock in pass receiving for four years and held almost every school pass receiving record at one time. He caught 114 passes for 1,974 yards and 16 TDs in his career and had eight TDs in his senior season. He was voted as the Outstanding Lineman in the All-Sports Bowl in 1963. He started every game in his four-year college career and signed a professional contract with the Canadian Football League following his graduation from The Rock. He is also a member of the Butler County Area Sports Hall of Fame.
