Slippery Rock University Athletics

Jayne Beatty (1985) was a member of Slippery Rock University’s Track and Field team from 1981-1985.
 
She holds school records in the shot put (14.92m) and discus (50.87m). Beatty was also a three-time All-American in both the shot put and discus. In 1985, Beatty was named PSAC Meet MVP when she broke the records in both the shot put and discus. Additionally, Beatty was a four-time conference champion in the shot put and a three-time PSAC champion in the discus. Beatty was also an Academic All-American.
