Stan Dziedzic (1972) was a three-time PSAC and three-time NCAA College Division national champion in wrestling. He also won the Division I national title in 1971 and was national runner-up in 1972. His collegiate record at The Rock was 116-2 with both of his losses coming against fellow national champions. Dziedzic won a bronze medal at the 1975 Olympic Games in Montreal and won a gold medal in the 1980 World Championships. A former collegiate coach, Dziedzic was named in 1977 as the winner of the SRU Outstanding Alumni Award and was the Amateur Wrestling News' "Man of the Year" in 1980. He has also been inducted into the National Wrestling and Division II Wrestling Coaches halls of fame.
