Slippery Rock University Athletics

Earl Birdy (1951) competed in track during his time at SRU, but is best known for his work from 1955-85 as a college football official. Among the games he worked were the 1962 North-South All-Star Game, the 1974 Orange Bowl, the 1979 Tangerine Bowl and the 1981 Hall of Fame Bowl.
