Hank Baierl is the second all-time winningest coach in SRU men's basketball history, winning 53 percent of his games over 12 seasons (1958-70) while amassing a 143-127 career record. In his 12 seasons at the helm, SRU won three division titles and the state championship in 1962-63. Along with his coaching responsibilities, Baierl was an associate professor in SRU's physical education department.
