SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University track & field program will travel to two different meets Friday and Saturday with groups of athletes set to compete at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia and at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

WHO IS GOING WHERE?
Slippery Rock will send most of its distance runners and limited sprinters and field athletes to Carnegie Mellon, while the majority of the sprinters, hurdlers and field event athletes will travel to Lynchburg.

MEN'S PREVIEW AT CARNEGIE MELLON
Slippery Rock will send its distance squad to lead the group at CMU, where
John Juszynski will lead the way in the steeplechase and
Eli Schreiber will lead the way in the 5,000-meter run. The Rock will enter a total of 12 men in the 5,000-meter run, seven in the 1,500-meter run and six in the 800-meter run. SRU will also send a limited squad of sprinters to CMU with
Jacob Thompson,
Danick Hinkson and

Jennifer Cichra in the mid-distance races. Multi-eventers

Matthew Crow in the hurdles and the anticipated top 4x100-meter relay team of Crow,

Kyle Rauchut and
Nicholas Hartwick competing in the sprints. All-American shot putter
Seaton Wozniak will make his outdoor debut, where he will be joined by
Connor Brown and
Logan Parker in the shot put.

Slippery Rock will host the first of two home meets this season with the Dave Labor Invitational next Friday and Saturday, April 3-4. The meet will see an altered schedule this year with select field events and distance races taking place Friday before the remainder of events will conclude Saturday.
