SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. –
Slippery Rock University men's track & field standouts Seaton Wozniak and Logan Anderson were named to Academic All-America honors when the College Sports Communicators announced the 2025-26 Academic All-America Men's Track & Field and Cross Country teams Tuesday.

Wozniak, a May graduate from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, becomes a three-time Academic All-American and repeats as a first team honoree after also earning first team honors in 2024-25 and third team honors in 2023-24. Anderson, a rising junior from Edinboro, Pennsylvania, earns his first career Academic All-America award with a selection to the third team.

In order to be nominated for the Academic All-America program, student-athletes must be at least sophomores in academic and athletic standing, must have an athletic performance that ranks in the top 50 in their respective region in a track event or must finish in the top half of the field at the regional cross country championships, must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and should have significant athletic credentials.

All performances from the fall cross country season, the winter indoor track & field season and the spring outdoor track & field season are considered.

Both Wozniak and Anderson had record-breaking years in 2025-26 on their way to winning multiple conference titles and earning a pair of All-America honors. Wozniak broke the SRU indoor record in the shot put, won conference titles in the shot put and discus throw and was a second team All-American in the shot put during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Anderson broke the all-time PSAC and SRU records in the heptathlon indoor, won league titles in the multi-event competition both indoor and outdoor and picked up first team All-America honors indoor and second team All-America honors outdoor.

The duo become the 156th and 157th Academic All-America honorees at Slippery Rock since the awards program began in 1970. Entering the 2025-26 academic year, SRU ranked sixth among all NCAA Division II institutions in total Academic All-America selections and 37th all-time across the entire NCAA.

Of The Rock's 157 Academic All-America selections, Wozniak is one 39 SRU student-athletes to earn the honor multiple times in a career and one of 13 atheltes to be a three-time honoree.
