JACK TOMS INVITATIONAL RESULTS
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Slippery Rock University men's track & field team recorded 17 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks, three NCAA provisional marks and 29 top 10 finishes at the Jack Toms Invitational that wrapped up Saturday evening from the University of Lynchburg.

The Rock got three NCAA marks in three different throwing events with
Zach Gose leading the way with a victory in the hammer throw with a toss of 58.10 meters.
Ryan Oleksy also met the PSAC standard and took third in the event with a mark of 51.14 meters.

Seaton Wozniak was second in the shot put with an NCAA provisional throw of 17.11 meters to lead four SRU athletes to PSAC marks in the event.
Connor Brown was fourth (16.37m),
Logan Parker was sixth (15.62m) and
Evan Hall was seventh (14.76m). Wozniak and Gose also both met the PSAC standard in the discus throw with Wozniak placing second (49.06m) and Gose placing sixth (45.47m).

Joey Reed tallied the final NCAA mark with a third place showing in the javelin with a throw of 60.09 meters.
Ian McCreary also met the PSAC standard in seventh with a throw of 54.68 meters.

Grady Cobb gave The Rock a second victory over the two-day meet when he won the high jump with a clearance of 1.95 meters.
Logan Turton took third with a matching PSAC qualifying height of 1.95 meters.

Slippery Rock also picked up two more PSAC marks in the field with
Christian Crowley placing third in the pole vault (4.55m) and
Jason Alderson finishing third in the triple jump (13.87m).

Matthew Crow led the way on the track with a second place finish in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.01 seconds. He also teamed with
Kadin Johnson,
Benny Whitaker and
Nicholas Hartwick to take second in the 4x100-meter relay in 41.88 seconds.

Johnson met the PSAC standard in the 400-meter dash with a third place finish in 49.14 seconds. He also teamed with
Austin Kurta,
Trey Huha and
Micah Good to place second in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:19.87.

Kurta closed out the PSAC marks for SRU with a seventh place showing in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.92 seconds.
