ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Slippery Rock University women's track & field team recorded 15 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks, 10 event wins and 26 top three finishes at the Jim Wuske Invitational Saturday at the University of Mount Union.

The Rock had a pair of women pick up wins in two different events with
Ava Reagle leading the way in the sprints and
Jennifer Cichra leading the way in the distance races.
Â
Reagle won the 60-meter dash in 7.93 seconds and took the 200-meter dash in a PSAC qualifying time of 26.30 seconds on the 200-meter flat surface.

Cichra, who anchored SRU's distance medley relay team at Youngstown State Friday night, competed in her second meet of the weekend and won the mile and 5,000-meter run Saturday. She clocked a PSAC qualifying time of 5:18.04 in the mile before cruising to a win in the 5K in 19:44.44.

SRU also picked up a 1-2 showing in the 3,000-meter run as The Rock won all three distance races Saturday.
Ruthie Hughes led the way in the 3K with a PSAC time of 10:24.04.
Carissa Flynn also hit the PSAC standard in second place in 10:33.67.

Slippery Rock closed out the top showings on the track with a pair of freshmen hitting PSAC marks in the 60-meter hurdles in a 1-2 finish.
Kathryn Morrison took the win in 9.15 seconds with
Ondrea Young finishing second in 9.30 seconds.

The Rock won four of the five field events the team entered Saturday, including sweeping all three jumps with PSAC marks.
Baylee Blauser won the long jump with a leap of 5.55 meters,
Alice Bogia took the triple jump with a mark of 11.11 meters and
Delaney Sturgeon won the high jump with a clearance of 1.64 meters.
Julia Coffaro also met the PSAC standard to take second in the triple jump (10.97m) and
Tayla Kurzawa hit the conference standard in the high jump with a third place finish at 1.61 meters.

Sydney Hale won the weight throw with a mark of 14.68 meters to lead SRU to four PSAC marks in the throws.
Olivia Heckman was second in the shot put with a toss of 13.22 meters, followed by
Becca Martin in third at 12.25 meters and
Haley Domagala in fourth at 12.23 meters.

Slippery Rock split its squad this week, sending the pole vaulters, multi-event athletes and select distance runners to Youngstown State, where they tallied five PSAC qualifying marks. A recap and results from that meet can be found

Slippery Rock will travel its greatest distance of the indoor season next week with a trip to Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan next Saturday.
