YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Slippery Rock University women's track & field team recorded 14 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks, one NCAA provisional mark and 15 top 10 finishes Friday at the YSU Last Chance Meet hosted by Youngstown State University.

The highlight of the meet belonged to shot putter Olivia Heckman, who took sixth overall but was the top non-Division I finisher in the event with an indoor career-best and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 13.70 meters. That mark improves on her previous season best of 13.35 meters, which was already the No. 1 throw in the PSAC entering this weekend.

The Rock recorded six PSAC marks in the field and eight on the track Friday.

Distance runner Ruthie Hughes was responsible for a pair of those after she took sixth in the mile in 5:09.12 and ninth in the 3,000-meter run in 10:26.03.

Jianna Long and Lydia Reed both clocked PSAC times in the 400-meter dash with Long taking eighth in 57.31 seconds and Reed placing 14th in 59.00 seconds. They later teamed up with Annasophia Stauffer and Ava Reagle to place sixth in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:00.48.

Reagle also clocked her own individual PSAC qualifying effort in the 200-meter dash with a 10th place showing in 25.55 seconds.

Kathryn Morrison led the hurdlers with a ninth place finish in the 60-meter event with a time of 9.28 seconds.

The final PSAC marks on the track came in the 800-meter run, where Jennifer Cichra was 15th in 2:21.23 and freshman Marissa Smalheer was 19th in 2:22.68 to record the first individual PSAC qualifying mark of her career.

Autumn Wyatt led the way in the jumps with a fifth place finish in the triple jump after recording a leap of 11.37 meters.

The Rock had a trio of pole vaulters clear matching heights of 3.40 meters in the pole vault with Addison Lyles and Kylie Eismann tying for third and Paige Harding placing sixth, all with PSAC marks.

The final PSAC qualifier of the night came from Sydney Hale, who was 21st in the weight throw with a toss of 14.45 meters.
