USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS – The Slippery Rock University men's and women's track & field teams and 15 individual student-athletes were recognized as All-Academic honorees by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) when the organization announced its 2025-26 academic awards.
 
In order for a team to be named All-Academic, the collective GPA of all members on the indoor and outdoor competition rosters must be above 3.0. The Rock women posted a 3.621 GPA following the 2025-26 academic year, while the SRU men recorded a 3.369 GPA.
 
In addition to the teams being recognized, Slippery Rock also had eight women and seven men named to individual All-Academic honors. In order for individuals to earn the recognition, they must own at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA after at least 24 completed credit hours and they must record an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in at least one event during the indoor or outdoor seasons.
 
The SRU women are represented on the USTFCCCA All-Academic team by Isabella Bartoletti, Baylee Blauser, Alice Bogia, Olivia Heckman, Savannah Schneck, Leighanne Swan, Allie Taylor and Autumn Wyatt.
 
Bartoletti and Heckman have both earned the award on three occasions, while Blauser, Schneck and Taylor have secured the honor twice apiece. Bogia, Swan and Wyatt round out the group as first-time honorees.
 
Representing The Rock's men's track & field team as individual honorees were Logan Anderson, Matthew Crow, Zach Gose, Logan Gossard, Drew Layton, Joey Reed and Seaton Wozniak.
 
Crow is now a four-time All-Academic honoree. Layton and Wozniak receive the accolade for a third time. Anderson, Gose and Gossard are now two-time selections after earning the award a year ago as well, while Reed picked up his first All-Academic selection.
 
The 15 individuals and two team awards continue a stellar academic year for The Rock track & field program.
 
Both programs won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Team GPA award for owing the top GPA among all men's and women's track & field programs in the league in 2025-26. SRU also placed three athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America team in Wozniak, Anderson and Jennifer Cichra.
 
Among the USTFCCCA academic team award winners, the Slippery Rock women's track & field team tied for the 21st highest GPA of 137 honorees, while SRU men's track & field were slotted 33rd out of 109 award recipients.
