RALEIGH RELAYS PREVIEW
Slippery Rock will send just 10 athletes to the Raleigh Relays, which is one of the highest profile collegiate meets on the east coast each year. The women's team will be represented by distance runner Anna Igims, who will race for the first time this spring when she runs in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, along with hurdler Chaley Younkin and sprinter Regan Johnson. Igims is the SRU record holder in the steeple, while Johnson is the reigning PSAC Athlete of the Week after posting the top 100-meter dash time in the league last week. The men's team will take the 4x100-meter relay squad of Matthew Crow, Benny Whitaker, AJ Virata and Kanye Thompson, which should be capable of challenging the SRU program record that was set last spring. All four of them will also run individual events. SRU's men will also feature 400-meter hurdle specialists Owen Rindler and Cade Adams and sprinter Kadin Johnson, who will run the 400-meter dash.

Dan Hyatt, Bradon Schneider, Logan Gossard and Andy Huynh have all cleared bars above 4.75 meters in their careers.
