LIMITED SRU ATHLETES IN ACTION
Slippery Rock will send a limited roster to compete at California with just 39 total athletes entered, including 17 men and 22 women. That roster could dip even lower depending on the weather. If the temps are low or it looks like rain or other poor weather may impact the meet, SRU will consider pulling its sprinters and only sending select field event athletes to compete.
Â
SRU ATHLETES TO WATCH
Of the SRU athletes entered this weekend, the men's squad includes thrower
Zach Gose and pole vaulter
Logan Gossard, who are both coming off All-Region indoor seasons. The women's squad includes PSAC indoor pole vault championÂ
Allie Taylor and All-PSAC long jumper
Baylee Blauser. The first outdoor meet of the season will also see the first chances for The Rock's javelin throwers to compete. The women's squad is expected to see All-American
Isabella Bartoletti make her season debut, while the men will be led by
Joey Reed. A look at the top two entries for SRU in each event Saturday can be found below. The full entry lists are available
