CLARION SCOUTING REPORT
The Golden Eagles come into Morrow Field House in search of their first win on the season with an 0-17 mark on the year.
Â
Four of Clarion's losses came in single-digit deficits. The Golden Eagles dropped their home-opener to Roberts Wesleyan University (93-86) before losing crossover matches to Bloomsburg University (81-79) and East Stroudsburg University (50-46).
Â
Most recently, Clarion fought wire-to-wire against California, taking the 11-4 Vulcans into an overtime thriller. While the game ended in a 66-62 loss for Clarion, it gave the Golden Eagles the momentum to hold No. 3 Gannon to just a 54-44 decision last week.
Â
The Golden Eagles are led by true freshman Autumn Taylor, whose 10.2 points per game rank third in the PSAC among all freshmen. Hannah Wilkerson of Salisbury, North Carolina has given Clarion 8.7 points per game as well as 4.2 rebounds per game.
Â
Starting forward Abby Gatesman is Clarion's top rebounder with 4.4 boards and 5.5 points per game.
