BEATING CAL
Slippery Rock's, 74-61, victory over California, Jan. 24 was its first over Cal since Feb. 2, 2019, when it downed the then ranked No. 10 Vulcans, 72-61. With a win over Cal on Saturday, SRU would have its first victory against California at the Convocation Center, which opened before the 2011-12 season, as well as its first win at California since Feb. 7, 2001. Lastly, a win over California would give Slippery Rock its first season-sweep over the Vulcans since the 1999-00 season.
