Deleah Gibson joined the Slippery Rock University women’s basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2023-24 season. As a graduate assistant, Gibson will assist head coach Ryenn Micaletti in all facets of the program.

•Gibson had a two-year playing career at Slippery Rock University following two seasons spent at Division I Youngstown State University.
•In her time at Slippery Rock, Gibson started 45 of 48 games, amassing 613 points.
•Gibson earned second team All-PSAC West honors in her senior year, averaging 17.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game, shooting 41.6 percent from the field.
•She finished her career ranked 11th in program history for most 3-pointers made with 95.

•Gibson is a native of Cleveland, Ohio.
•Graduated in May 2023 from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor's of Social Work.
•Pursuing a Master's of Social Work while serving as a GA at SRU.
