SLIPPERY ROCK NOTES
Last Time Out: Slippery Rock lost in a shootout at Mansfield, 1-0.

• Jordan Barnes has been named an alternate for the 2019 NFHCA Senior All-Star Game. So far this season, Barnes has started all 13 games and recorded one defensive save. For her career, Barnes has appeared in 64 of a possible 68 games while making 50 consecutive starts and tallying three defensive saves.

• Goalkeeper Hannah Nurse gave The Rock arguably the top performance of her young career in SRU's shootout loss against Mansfield. Nurse made 12 saves over 80 minutes and stopping four of the Mounties attempts during the shootout. The 12 saves marked her second-highest single-game total of her career.

• For the season, Nurse has started eight of her 10 games played, going 2-6 with four total shutouts (one solo / three combined), 66 saves, a .786 save percentage and a 2.89 goals against average. She is second in the PSAC in total saves.

• Jessie Trube comes into the weekend leading The Rock in points (14), goals (6), shots on goal (22), total shots (34) and game-winning goals (2) in addition to being in a four-way tie for the team lead in assists with two.

• Kayla Ulrich sits second on the team in points with 10 on four goals and two assists. Ulrich is one of just three players in program history to produce at least 10 points in each of their first three seasons.

• Courtney Page and Addy Ross both have six points on two goals and two assists this year. Page also ranks third on The Rock in shots on goal with 12. Emily Polakovsky is The Rock's other multi-goal scorer with two to go with one assist.

• Lauren Marks, Abby McKay, Mikaela Hettel and Brenna McGovern-Lind round out SRU's attack. Marks and McKay have each scored one goal with Marks also ranking second on the team in shots on goal at 14 while Hettel and McGovern-Lind have each dealt out one assist.

• Holly Stiller and Kalie Reed rank among the PSAC elite in defensive saves. Stiller is tied for second in the league, and sixth nationally, with three while Reed is tied for sixth across the PSAC with two. Lacy Bayley, McGovern-Lind, Barnes have accounted for defensive save apiece as well.

• Backup goalkeeper Maddie Murphy has started five of her 11 games played this season. She has been a part of three shutouts, recording 35 saves, a .729 save percentage and a 2.61 goals against average.

• Eight Rock players (Ulrich, Page, Polakovsky, McKay, Reed, Bayley, Stiller and Barnes) have started all 13 games this season. If that number holds through the end of the year it would mark the first time since 2012, and just the second time in the last 13 years overall, that eight position players (non-goalies) have started every game in a season.

• In SRU's first game of the season against Millersville, Page scored a goal on a Trube assist while Marks posted three shots on goal in the loss. Nurse made 15 saves while allowing five goals and Murphy stopped four shots while surrendering two goals.

RECORDS WATCH
• Ulrich ranks second in program history for points in a career with 52 and third in career goals with 23. While she is still 29 points away from catching Megan McKay (2013-16) for The Rock's career points record, Ulrich only needs three goals to pass Marlene Hall (1985-88) for second place on SRU career goal ledger.

• Ulrich and Page are part of a six-way tie for 14th place in program history for assists in a career at six each.

• Murphy currently ranks third for Slippery Rock in career wins (12), fourth in career goals against average (2.16), fourth in saves (190) and fifth in save percentage (.736).
