LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lucy Hutchinson earned all-league recognition to represent the Slippery Rock University field hockey program on the 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Team, the league office announced Monday.
Â
Hutchinson, a junior from Norwich, England, garnered third team All-PSAC honors as a forward/midfielder. The all-conference accolade is the first such of her career. She joins teammate
Hilary Hoffman, a 2024 All-PSAC honoree, as the only two non-defenders from The Rock to receive an all-conference honor since 2018.
Â
2025 was a breakout year for Hutchinson, who paced Slippery Rock's offensive efforts over the course of her 13 appearances – nine of which were starts.
Â
Hutchinson scored five goals while placing nine of her 18 shots on target. Three of Hutchinson's goals were of the game-winning variety against Pace, Adelphi and Converse. She also posted goals against Lander and Frostburg State.
Â
Hutchinson enters her senior season at The Rock in 2026 having appeared in 38 career games.
Â
Kutztown University swept the league's major individual awards as Erin Gonzalez was named the PSAC Athlete of the Year with Olivia Kirkpatrick taking Defensive Athlete of the Year honors, Tess Adolf being tabbed the conference's top freshman and Marci Scheuing being voted the PSAC Coach of the Year.
Â
Slippery Rock concluded its 2025 season with a 5-12 overall record. The five victories were the most by a Rock team over the last three seasons.
