RACE TO THE PSAC TOURNAMENT
The top six teams in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division standings at the end of the regular season qualify for the PSAC Tournament. The first and second seeds in the standings earn first-round byes and a home game in the quarterfinal round while the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds are guaranteed home games in the first round.
• The top four teams in the PSAC West standings have begun to separate itself as Gannon and Indiana (Pa.) enter the week in a tie for first place with matching 13-1 league records while Seton Hill (11-3) and Edinboro (10-4) sit comfortably in third and fourth place, respectively.
• The remaining four teams are separated by just three games as Clarion and California (Pa.) head into their respective weekday contests occupying the final two PSAC Tournament spots in fifth and sixth place with 7-7 and 6-8 records.
• If the season ended today Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown would sit in a tie for seventh place in the PSAC West standings with dueling 4-10 conference records. However, The Rock and the Mountain Cats are just two games behind the Vulcans for the final spot with six games to go in the regular season. Slippery Rock will play California one more time this season at the Convocation Center.
DEFENDING THE PAINT
Gillin ended the overtime affair against Pitt-Johnstown with a career-high six blocks. The six blocks for Gillin was the fourth most in Slippery Rock history for a single game. This was a bounce-back performance for Gillin as the senior rebounded from her first game without multiple blocks since Jan. 3 against East Stroudsburg. Joseph-Bernard is the only PSAC West athlete that has had a game with more blocks than Gillin in the last two seasons.
LEADING THE PACK
Wade is currently averaging 14.1 points per game and 4.7 assists per game this season. The guard sits 25

MOVING THE ROCK
Ball movement has been key for SRU putting up 65.1 points per game as it has assisted on 57.3 percent (274-of-478) of it's made field goals.
Wade and Joseph-Bernard lead the way for Rock playmakers as the guard ranks second (4.7 apg) and the forward ranks sixth (3.8 apg) in the PSAC in assists per game.
Slippery Rock is the only team in the PSAC with two of the top 10 players in assists per game.
MOVING UP THE FRESHMAN RANKS
Wade is inside the top 10 in SRU history for points, assists, minutes and 3-pointers made by a freshman. The rookie currently sits in third place in assists (94), fifth in minutes (742), tied for sixth in made 3-pointers (21) and ninth in points (287).
Against Pitt-Johnstown, Wade scored 19 points and orchestrated five assists in 42 minutes. Wade had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists against Clarion earlier this year. The UPJ performance resulted in Wade moving up two spots in the minutes list and one spot in points. The freshman has scored in double- figures in her last six games and 17 of her 20 appearances this season. This six game streak of 10+ points is Wade's longest of the year.
MODEL OF CONSISTENCY
Gillin has made at least one three-pointer in 11 consecutive
games and in 18 of her 20 appearances this season. With at least one 3-point field goal made against Clarion, Gillin would move into a tie for ninth place in Slippery Rock history for consecutive games with a three-pointer made with 12. D'Asia Chambers (2011-12/12-13) currently occupies ninth place, while four players are tied for fifth place on the list.
Consecutive Games with a 3-Pointer Made
t5. Erinne Cunningham (2011-12) – 13
t5. Aidan Geise (2013-14) – 13
t5. Krista Pietropola (2016/17-2017-18) – 13
t5. Deleah Gibson (2021-22) – 13
9. D'Asia Chambers (2011-12/2012-13) – 12
10. Alyssa Gillin (2025-26) – 11
ROOKIE LEADERS
With six games left in the regular season, Wade is currently The Rock's leading scorer with 14.4 points per game. If the freshman stays as Slippery Rock's top point-getter, she will be the third rookie to lead The Rock in scoring since the 1999-00 season.Â
Regan Atkins (2023-24) and Siembak (1999-00) are the only SRU rookies to lead the team in points in the last 27 seasons. Atkins led SRU with 15.2 ppg. while Siembak averaged 15.5 ppg in her rookie campaign.
INSIDE OUT THREAT
Gillin has been a cornerstone for SRU both offensively and defensively this year. Not only has she blocked 1.9 shots per game, she's also converted 40 of her 115 3-point attempts on the way to averaging 11.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 41.9 percent from the field overall to go with her impressive shot blocking.
Â
Gillin is the only athlete in all of Division II to have recorded at least 40 made 3-pointers and 35 blocks this year.
Â
35 3's / 30 Blocks in D2
Alyssa Gillin (SRU): 3's: 40 – Blocks: 37
PICKING UP STEALS
Woods has been a core player for SRU on the defensive end this season. The senior transfer from Bethune-Cookman sits with 36 steals on the season, just one steal behind Erinne Cunningham (2011-12) for the seventh most steals by a transfer in their first year at SRU. Woods has at least one steal in all but one game so far this season.Â
On the offensive end, Woods has reach double-digits in points in eight of her last 11 games, averaging 9.2 ppg over that span.
SHARPSHOOTING DUO
Gillin and Hook have been among the PSAC's top sharpshooters in the 2025-26 season. Gillin (2.0) and Hook (1.8) rank fourth and eighth in the conference in 3-pointers made per game.
MOST 3-POINTERS PER GAME (3-8)
3. Leila Hurley (Kutztown) – 2.3
t4. Alyssa Gillin (Slippery Rock) – 2.0
t4. Teresa Maggio (IUP) – 2.0
t6. Daniella Ranielli (Millersville) – 1.9
t6. Kara Wehner (Shepherd) – 1.9
8. Sophia Hook (Slippery Rock) – 1.8
FINDING HER RHYTHM
Haggerty has been enjoying her most productive stretch as a scorer of her career. Haggerty has scored 80 points total in her last seven appearances, averaging 11.4 ppg in that span, including a career- high 17 points against California (Pa.). The junior also earned her third consecutive start against Pitt-Johnstown.
LEADER FROM LONG RANGE
Along with Gillin, Hook has been the driving force behind The Rock's success from 3-point range. The junior guard has connected on 35.3 percent (36-of-102) of her 3-point attempts this season. She enters Wednesday ranked eighth in 3-pointers made per game (1.8) in the PSAC. Hook has surpassed her career-high in made 3-pointers (33) that she set a season ago, with at least six games left to play.
In 20 starts this season, the PSAC's sixth ranked player in minutes played has averaged 12.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 assists per game. The junior is shooting 40.2 percent from the field overall along with her .353 mark from 3-point range.
ONE OF A KIND
While typically not the highest scoring player on the court, Joseph-Bernard always finds multiple ways to impact the game. The senior is averaging 8.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.6 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.
Joseph-Bernard is the only Division II athlete to average at least 8.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game. The senior forward also sits seventh on Division II's in single-game blocks list with her seven-block game against Glenville State.
SETTING RECORDS
Joseph-Bernard and Gillin have combined for 68 blocks this season to help The Rock up to sixth on the PSAC's block rankings with 4.2 per game.
Â
The duo has also been prolific shot blockers over their careers as Gillin is sixth in program history in career blocks with 62, while Joseph-Bernard ranks tied for eighth with 59 rejections. Joseph-Bernard and Gillin are just the fifth pair of Rock teammates with each holding at least 50 career blocks to be active at the same time. If Joseph-Bernard is able to join Gillin with 60 career blocks by the end of the year, they would be the third pair of teammates to be active with 60 career blocks.

HITTING THE GLASS
Joseph-Bernard is one of the premier rebounders in the conference as the senior grabs the third most defensive rebounds per game (7.8), the fifth most rebounds per contest (9.2) and the sixth most total rebounds (175) in the PSAC.
Most recently, the senior forward grabbed 13 rebounds against UPJ. Joseph-Bernard earned her second double-double of the season against UPJ with 12 points as well. Joseph-Bernard's 7.8 defensive rpg puts the senior as the sixth best defensive rebounder in Division II.
NO FLY ZONE
Joseph-Bernard and Gillin have been the backbone Slippery Rock's defense this season. The two forwards rank inside the top 10 for blocks as a senior at The Rock as Gillin sits in second place with 37 blocks, while Joseph-Bernard occupies fourth place with 31 blocks.
IRON WOMEN
Slippery Rock has utilized the same starting lineup of Wade, Hook, Woods, Gillin and Joseph-Bernard in 17 of 20 games this season. The Rock's core five rarely leave the court as every SRU starter averages at least 30 minutes per game.
Â
Led by Wade's PSAC-high 37.0 minutes per game, all five Rock starters are ranked in the top of 25 in the conference in terms of minutes played per game.
