LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's cross country team finished 10th in the crimson race at the Lock Haven Invitational Saturday from the West Branch XC Course at Lock Haven.
 
Charleston won the team race with 71 total points, topping Walsh in second place with 79 points and Ashland with 80 points in a tight race at the top. Lock Haven was the top team from the PSAC in sixth place with 191 points and Slippery Rock was second among PSAC teams and 10th overall with 327 points.
 
John Juszynski led a Slippery Rock scoring pack that was separated by just 25 seconds with a 64th place finish in 26:11. Eli Schreiber was 68th in 26:14, followed by Michael Gauntner in 79th in 26:34, Dom Bumblis in 82nd in 26:35 and Dylan Ribelin in 83rd in 26:36.
 
Easton Adamczyk (87th, 26:40) and Jonah Lindstrom (91st, 26:43) rounded out the top seven finishers.
 
Slippery Rock also had nine runners compete in the white race Saturday with Ryan Czechowski leading the way in 38th place in 28:00. Full SRU results from both races can be found below.
 
The Rock will rest next weekend before returning to action Oct. 11 at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational at the Youthtowne Fields in Clinton, Pennsylvania.
