SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University track & field and cross country programs will host two summer all-comer track & field meets and a series of summer camps for each event group this June.
 
SUMMER ALL-COMER MEETS
The Rock will host track & field meets for athletes of all ages on the first two Wednesdays of June (June 3 and June 10). The full schedule of events is available HERE. Each meet will begin with the 3 p.m. hammer throw. Other throws will begin at 4:30 p.m. and jumps will begin at 5:30 p.m. Track events are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The pre-registration entry fee is $20 up to Tuesday night at 11 p.m. while day-of entry is $25.

The Rock will offer camps for the following groups of athletes:

•     Cross Country / Distance Runners (June 21-24)
•     Pole Vaulters (June 26-28)
•     Throwers (June 26-28)
•     Jumpers (June 26-28)
•     Sprinters and Hurdlers (June 26-28)

All camps are open to boys and girls ages 13-18 or athletes that will be between grades 8-12 in the fall.
 
Each camp will offer overnight accommodations on campus and a commuter option that does not include overnight accommodations. Camps will include a full campus tour, lectures about proper nutrition and training for track & field athletes, workouts and practices, group games and all meals.
 
The camps will be led by a highly decorated staff that includes the Slippery Rock track & field coaching staff and other college and high school coaches from throughout the region, as well as multiple current and former track & field student-athletes from SRU.

About Rock Track & Field: The Slippery Rock track & field program is one of the top NCAA Division II programs in the Atlantic Region and routinely ranks among the top three in the region for both the men's and women's teams. SRU won the 2025-26 PSAC women's indoor track & field and outdoor track & field titles while the men's team finished second at both championships.
