NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University track & field teams recorded two NCAA provisional marks and 13 PSAC automatic qualifying marks at the Westminster Invitational that wrapped up Saturday from Westminster College.

The Rock split their teams to three different meets this week with a select group competing at Westminster and others competing at Bucknell and Susquehanna.

SRU came away from the Westminster meet with a pair of NCAA marks with one each on the men's and women's side with
Zach Gose hitting the NCAA standard in the hammer throw for the men's team and
Isabella Bartoletti reaching the mark in the javelin for the SRU women.

Gose won the hammer with a throw of 57.58 meters to lead The Rock to a sweep of the top three places in the event. His brother
Joshua Gose was second at 48.51 meters, followed by
Andrew Demko in third at 48.35 meters.
Joshua Rohland also met the PSAC standard in sixth at 47.55 meters. Demko also hit the PSAC mark in the discus to place fourth with a toss of 45.14 meters.

The Rock men also hit a pair of PSAC marks in the pole vault with
Dan Hyatt placing third with a clearance of 4.75 meters and
Logan Gossard finishing seventh with a mark of 4.45 meters.

Bartoletti led the SRU women with a win in the javelin with a season-best and NCAA provisional throw of 42.65 meters.

The Rock women won two of the throwing events at Westminster with
Sarah Corrie taking the shot put title with a season-best throw of 13.64 meters.
Olivia Heckman was fourth with a toss of 12.22 meters.

SRU also got a pair of PSAC marks in the discus with
Reese Skiba placing third with a throw of 38.66 meters and
Sydney Hale finishing fourth with a throw of 37.81 meters.

The final PSAC mark of the day came from
Allie Taylor in the pole vault with her sixth place finish and clearance of 3.60 meters.
