LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Slippery Rock University men's soccer forward
Kaden Reynolds was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career, the conference office announced on Monday.
Reynolds, a sophomore from Mount Albert, Ontario, earns Slippery Rock its third PSAC weekly award this year. Reynolds is the 23
rd different SRU men's soccer player to win a PSAC weekly award since 2004.
Reynolds led Slippery Rock to a 2-0 week, totaling eight points on four goals, while landing four shots on goal.
Slippery Rock controlled play for the majority of the game and pulled out the win against Daemen University at home, 2-0, before claiming a conference victory at Pitt-Johnstown, 2-0.

th minute after
Zsombor Retfalvi sent Reynolds on goal with a through ball and he finished with a shot in the bottom left corner. Reynolds' second tally came in the 81
st minute when
Aashi Pandher fed him the ball just outside of the 18-yard box. After receiving the pass, Reynolds took two steps to his right before bending the ball around the goalkeeper into the bottom right corner, sealing Slippery Rock's 2-0 victory.
Against Pitt-Johnstown, Reynolds created two turnovers leading to both goals in the 27
th and 47
th minute, finishing the tally's with both a strong foot and weak foot goal.
Reynolds now leads The Rock with 17 points on eight goals and one assist.
Slippery Rock is 6-5-1 overall and 3-2-0 in the PSAC West for far in 2025. The Rock will be back in action 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lock Haven University.
