Â
ROCK STARS OF RECENT
• Moye contributed a season-best 11 points at Clarion thanks in part to a season-high two 3-pointers.
Â
• Hook had a career-high day at the free throw line, going 5-for-5 for the first time in her career. Hook made 5-of-6 in SRU's double-overtime loss to Millersville University earlier in the season.
Â
• Jones recorded a season-high five rebounds against the Golden Eagles, her most in a Slippery Rock uniform. She has collected four rebounds in three other games this year as well.
Â
• Robinson reeled in a season-high seven rebounds at Clarion, one shy from tying Joseph-Bernard's team-leading eight. Robinson's previous season-high came in SRU's opening game of the year. The senior from Chicago, Illinois posted six rebounds against Davis & Elkins College Nov. 9.
Â
• Atkins blocked two shots in a game for the sixth time in her career and the second time this season. She now ranks second on the team behind Joseph-Bernard (20) with 10 total blocks this year.
Â
•
Anye Washington registered the first assist of the season and the eighth of her career at Clarion.
Â
•
Hannah Pugliese made the first 2-point field goal of her career at Clarion. The first nine points of her collegiate career have come in the last two games.
Â
MILESTONE WATCH
• With 13 points at Clarion, Atkins surpassed 600 career points by reaching 603. 222 of those 603 points (33.5 percent) have come this season.
Â
• Hook's three rebounds against the Golden Eagles were enough to get her to 50 career rebounds. She reached that total in her first 13 career games and is now the fourth player for SRU this season with at least 50 rebounds.
Â
• Moye's 11-point performance at Clarion brought her career total to 193, seven shy of 200. Atkins (603) and
Kaylin Venick (219) are the only players on the active roster to have made it to 200 career points thus far.
Â
• That said, Gillin's seven points at Clarion increased her career tally to 186. Hitting 200 is well within reach for the junior from Monaca, Pennsylvania, as her career-high came earlier this year with a 15-point effort against Kutztown University.
