SERIES HISTORY
Slippery Rock and Edinboro will be playing each other for the 43rd time with SRU looking for its 10th consecutive win in the all-time series. SRU holds a 29-5-8 record in the matchup, a series that Edinboro has earned three wins in since 2002.

Four of Edinboro's five wins have come at Slippery Rock with The Rock holding a 14-4-2 record over Edinboro at home. The Fighting Scots last left Slippery Rock with a win in 2016 via a 3-1 decision. Since then, The Rock have won six straight home games against Edinboro, including the 2019 PSAC Championship.

SRU came away from Edinboro with a 6-0 win Sept. 25, a victory that saw goals from six different players. That shutout win marked Slippery Rock's largest margin of victory over Edinboro in series history.

The Rock won with goals from Libby Zacharyasz (16'), Sophia Palermo (37'), Faith Diffenbacher (51'), Bailey McGee (60'), Morgan Sarver (73') and Olivia Yoder (88'). LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock bounced back into the win column with a 1-0 result at California (Pa.) Nov. 2. The win, which clinched a PSAC Tournament berth for the 14th consecutive season, came as a result of a 51st-minute goal off the foot of Palermo. Patrick earned the assist, while The Rock outshot the Vulcans, 6-2.

LEADING THE ROCK
Patrick leads Slippery Rock with 17 points on four goals and a squad-high nine assists. McGee's 12 points on four goals and four assists stack up behind her, while Sarver is still SRU's leading goalscorer with five, comprising all 10 of her points on the season.

Palermo's goal at Cal moved her up to eight points from three goals and two assists, while DeLucio rounds out the top five points-talliers for SRU with six points on two goals and two assists.

Yoder and Zacharyasz have both contributed four points on the season with Yoder scoring once and adding two assists and Zacharyasz netting two goals. Skylar Munnikhuysen has posted three points on a goal and an assist, while both Diffenbacher and Ava Balazentis own two points on the year. Balazentis has two assists, and Diffenbacher has one goal.

Maxey and Sydney Smith both have one assist to their name this year to cap off the group of 12 players who have earned at least one point.

Zacharyasz leads Slippery Rock's shot-taking efforts with 35, while Sarver has fired 33 total attempts. Palermo still leads in precision, placing a team-high 21 shots on goal out of her 30 total shots. Patrick has also ramped up her shot accuracy, landing an impressive 15 of 20 attempts on frame.

WHERE THEY STAND
Regardless of Wednesday's outcome, Slippery Rock will enter its 14th consecutive PSAC Tournament as the third seed of four PSAC West teams qualifying for the postseason.

The Rock will travel to either Gannon University or Indiana University (Pa.) for its quarterfinal match. The highest remaining seed in the PSAC West will host the rest of the playoffs after that.

Gannon leads the PSAC West with 30 points as IUP trails with 27. Even if Slippery Rock beats Edinboro and IUP loses its last two games, the Crimson Hawks hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over SRU for home-field advantage.

Gannon is set to travel to Clarion 7 p.m. Wednesday with IUP heading to Seton Hill 3 p.m. Wednesday. Any net gain in the table for Gannon over IUP that day would guarantee that The Rock will travel to IUP for the first round of the PSAC Tournament. IUP also hosts Gannon in the teams' regular season finale 1 p.m. Saturday.

ANOTHER CLEAN SHEET
Allman earned her seventh shutout of the season and her 13th career blank slate in last week's 1-0 win at Cal. With six shutouts last year in her freshman campaign, that shutout marked a career-high season for her.

Having played every available minute since her first game on campus, Allman heads into the final week of the regular season with a 0.94 GAA and a 0.792 save percentage on the year. She will look to keep a perfect 3-0 career record against Edinboro intact as well.

THE DEFENSIVE THIRD
SRU's defense played a large role in that seventh shutout of the year as well, allowing just two total shots from the Vulcans. Slippery Rock's defensive line saw the likes of Diffenbacher, Smith, Zacharyasz, Irene Doleno and Nina King against Cal.

SWEEPING OPPONENTS
Slippery Rock is looking for its second win against an opponent for the third time this season after previously defeating Edinboro 6-0 Sept. 25 on the road. The Rock are coming off a sweep of California (Pa.) on the year, beating the Vulcans 1-0 in both outings. SRU also won a pair of shutouts against Clarion this season, 6-0 Sept. 28 and 2-0 Oct. 26.

NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP FOR SOPHIA
Palermo continues to add to her excellent portfolio at The Rock, scoring her third goal of the season. That goal also became her first game-winning goal of the year with SRU going on to win the match, 1-0.

A sophomore from Wexford, Pennsylvania, Palermo enters Wednesday on a six-game streak of taking at least one shot in every appearance. Palermo has tallied 18 shots in her last six outings for The Rock with 13 of those landing on target.

Leading the team with 21 shots on goal, Palermo ranks sixth nationwide in Division II with a shot accuracy of .700. She ranks 11th in the PSAC as a whole with 1.4 shots on goal per game.

OPPORTUNITIES FROM THE FLAGS
SRU won eight of the game's nine corner kick opportunities against Cal, adding to its total of corner kicks chances this year. The Rock rank 14th in Division II and third in the PSAC with 6.9 corner kicks per game. They have taken the majority of the corner kicks in five of their last six matches, now holding a 110-54 lead on the year.

DISHING OUT GOALS
Slippery Rock's 4.6 points per game have been swayed by its 1.5 assists per game, an average good enough to rank fourth out of the 17 teams in the PSAC. Patrick has bolstered that per-game average with 0.6 assists per game, which ranks second in the PSAC and fifth in Division II.

Patrick's program-leading 30th assist came against California as she passed the ball to Palermo on the game's winning goal.

SHOTS RINGING OUT
The Rock have averaged 15.7 shots per game this year, fourth in the PSAC. SRU has outshot five of its last six opponents, holding a 251-166 difference in shots on the season. Through the last six matches, The Rock have outshot their opponents, 90-51.

Zacharyasz, a defensive midfielder, leads SRU with 35 shots, which accounts for 13.9 percent of the team's total 251 attempts. Palermo, Sarver and Zacharyasz, the team's top three shooters, have combined for 39.0 percent of SRU's shots (98-of-251).

THE SEASON FINALE
Slippery Rock is 5-2-3 in its last 10 regular season finales, looking to extend a six-game unbeaten streak in the final game of the regular season. The Rock have not lost their last game of the regular season since 2016.

The Rock have won six of their last 10 final home games of each season, going 4-0-1 in the last five seasons in that match.

SRU earned a thrilling 3-3 draw versus Gannon in last year's season finale at home. After trailing 3-0 at halftime, Ashley Rea recorded a second-half hat trick to pull The Rock even with the Golden Knights, capping off a 7-0-2 unbeaten year on home soil.

GOING FOR A 10th STRAIGHT WIN IN THE SERIES
Slippery Rock has the opportunity to pick up its 10th consecutive win against Edinboro, a feat The Rock have only accomplished three other times in program history. Nine straight wins against the Fighting Scots serves as SRU's second-longest active winning streak against an opponent, as The Rock have never lost to Mansfield University, 12-0 all-time.

Longest SRU winning streaks vs. opponents:
16 – California (Pa.) (1996-2007)
15 – Clarion (2001-09)
12 – Mansfield (2003-Present)
9 – Edinboro (2019-Present)
9 – Millersville (2003-13)
9 – Pitt-Johnstown (2013-21)
8 – Seton Hill (2008-17)

RECORD WATCH
Patrick and Sarver have both solidified themselves in the top 15 all-time in shots attempted. Sarver ranks ninth with 145 shots, while Patrick has remains 14th with 121. Sarver is three shots behind a tie for eighth with Kayla Swope at 148 total shot attempts.

With another point at Cal, Patrick has gone from 17th to 13th in all-time points over the course of the last two matches. Now with 62 points on 16 goals and 30 assists, Patrick is tied with Cara Yannotti (2000-02) for 13th, just one point behind Andrea Felix's 63 points earned from 2013-16. Jen Cannuci and Beth Kimball guard the top 10 with 64 points each.

Allman stacks up eighth with 19 all-time wins, second with seven career ties and fifth with 13 total shutouts. Now with 35 career starts, the Olmsted Township, Ohio goalkeeper ranks sixth in school history, two behind Amanda Wier (2002-03) for fifth.

EDINBORO SCOUTING REPORT
The Fighting Scots head into their last two games of the regular season on the outside looking in, separated from Pitt-Johnstown in fourth by one point. That said, Edinboro would be eliminated from PSAC Tournament contention should the Fighting Scots lose to SRU and Pitt-Johnstown defeats California (Pa.) on the road 6 p.m. Wednesday night.

Edinboro is coming off two straight losses, a 3-0 road loss to Pitt-Johnstown and a 3-1 decision to No. 22 IUP. Edinboro's most notable win this year was a 2-1 win at Indiana Oct. 5. The Fighting Scots also defeated UPJ 7-0 Sept. 28 at home, Edinboro's first match back after its 6-0 loss to SRU Sept. 25.

Senior Reece Enochs ranks 10th in the PSAC with 1.1 points per game on a team-leading 15 points that have stemmed from six goals and three assists. Graduate student Kylee Cross is Edinboro's leading shot-taker with 16 of her 27 total attempts landing on goal.

Sandra Malave (5-3-1) has started nine games in net for Edinboro this year, but Kaylee Lauriel (0-3-2), who played against SRU earlier this year, is coming off her fifth start of the season in Edinboro's most recent match against IUP. Lauriel has a 2.96 GAA on the year and a .659 save percentage, while Malave has earned a 1.73 GAA and a .733 save rate.

LOOKING AHEAD
As the third seed in the PSAC West, Slippery Rock will travel to the second seed in the PSAC Tournament Quarterfinals Nov. 12. A win in that game paired with the four-seed upsetting the top-seed in the PSAC West would give Slippery Rock hosting rights to the remainder of the PSAC Tournament Nov. 15-17.
