LAST TIME OUT
The Rock brought three points home from a 2-1 win over Seton Hill University that required Bailey McGee to score a game-winner in the final 5:58. McGee also assisted SRU's first goal of the game, a 47th-minute strike from Sarver. Skylar Munnikhuysen recorded an assist on McGee's game winner.

Seton Hill found its equalizer in the 72nd minute but could not overcome deficits in shots (18-10), shots on goal (11-3) and corner kicks (7-3) that helped propel The Rock to their one-goal victory.

Allman made two saves in the game, a win that started SRU's second leg of PSAC West round-robin play on the right foot.

LEADING THE ROCK
A dozen players have tallied points for The Rock, led by McGee with 12 points on four goals and four assists. Patrick's 11 points on two goals and seven assists rank right behind her, while Sarver is Slippery Rock's leading goalscorer with all 10 of her points stemming from five goals.

Maddie DeLucio ranks fourth on the team with her six points coming from two points and two assists, as three players have four points: Both Palermo and Olivia Yoder have scored once and assisted twice, while all four of Libby Zacharyasz's points have come from her two goals.

Munnikhuysen now has three points on the year from one goal and one assist. Diffenbacher and Ava Balazentis have each recorded two points on the year with Balazentis' coming from two assists and Diffenbacher's from one goal.

Kierstyn Maxey and Sydney Smith round out the group of 12 players with points each with one point from one assist.

On top of being the team's leading goalscorer, Sarver leads SRU in shots with 29 and shots on goal with 12. Zacharyasz follows her with 26 shots, while DeLucio has put 10 of her 20 total shots on target. Both Palermo and Patrick have also landed 10 shots on frame, combining for 27 total shot attempts.

DeLucio, Sarver and Zacharyasz are the three players with at least 20 shots on the year, collectively accounting for 75 of The Rock's 179 shots this year (41.9 percent).

CONGRATS, COACH
SRU's 2-1 win at Seton Hill marked Jessica Giegucz's 100th win as Slippery Rock's head coach. Giegucz, who has not had a losing record in her 11-year career, earned her 100th overall career win last year when taking her 2014 season at Division III Northland College into account.

BAILEY WITH ANOTHER BIG GAME
McGee leads Slippery Rock with 12 points following her one goal and one assist performance at Seton Hill despite earning points in just three games this season.

McGee similarly picked up three points on one goal and one assist at Edinboro Sept. 25 before piling on six points from two goals and two assists three days later at Clarion in Slippery Rock's second straight 6-0 win.

The sophomore captain from Aurora, Ohio has started every game this year and has seen six of her 16 total shots land on target. Two of SRU's five game-winning goals this year have come from McGee, ranking eighth in the PSAC in that category.

THE OFFENSE IS ROLLING
Slippery Rock has now recorded at least 17 shots in four of its last six games, ranking highly in the PSAC not only in shots but in several offensive metrics:

Slippery Rock top offensive team stats (PSAC rank)
• 2.0 assists per game (1st)
• 16.3 shots per game (3rd)
• 7.8 shots on goal per game (4th)
• 6.2 corner kicks per game (4th)
• 5.8 points per game (5th)
• 1.9 goals per game (6th)

FINDING THE SCORERS
In addition to leading the conference with 2.0 assists per game, Slippery Rock ranks 15th nationally in Division II. Patrick, who broke SRU's all-time assists record earlier this year with 28, individually ranks sixth in Division II with 0.7 assists per game. She leads the team with seven total helpers on the season.

PRECISION ON THE ATTACK
By placing 11 of their 18 shots on target against Seton Hill, The Rock recorded their second-highest shot on goal accuracy of the year at 61.1 percent. SRU registered a 66.7 percent shot on goal rate against No. 5 Gannon University in its 1-1 draw Oct. 2 by landing six of its nine total shots on frame.

DEFENSE STANDING ON BUSINESS
Slippery Rock's defense saw familiar faces in Diffenbacher, Smith, Zacharyasz and Nina King against Seton Hill, holding the Griffins to three shots on goal. All PSAC West opponents so far this year have been held to fewer than seven shots on goal, averaging 3.6 shots on target per game.

LEAH MAKING MORE SAVES
Allman is up to 43 saves on the year, coming into Wednesday looking for her fifth shutout of the year. Playing more minutes than any other goalkeeper in the PSAC, Allman has a 0.91 GAA and an .811 save percentage through her 11 full 90-minute shifts.

#4 GETTING THE START
Yoder made her third career start for Slippery Rock against the Griffins, her first of the 2024 campaign. Despite averaging 51.9 minutes per game – more than 25 minutes fewer than Sarver – Yoder ranks fourth behind the team's leader in shots with 17 total shot attempts this year, becoming a consistent asset off the bench.

Further exemplifying SRU's depth, Rice and Chloe Flynn also played their third games of the season at SHU, combining for 13 minutes in the midfield.

LOOKING FOR A SWEEP
A win over Pitt-Johnstown would give Slippery Rock its first PSAC West sweep of the season after defeating the Mountain Cats 3-0 on the road Sept. 11. The only other team that The Rock have played twice this year is Seton Hill, which SRU went 1-0-1 against.

Pitt-Johnstown was one of the four PSAC West teams that Slippery Rock swept a year ago, falling in a pair of 5-0 and 4-1 defeats to The Rock. SRU also went 2-0 against Seton Hill (2-0, 2-0), Indiana University (Pa.) (3-2, 2-1) and Edinboro (1-0, 3-2) last year.

SETTLING INTO EGLI
Slippery Rock will play its first game at James Egli Field since Oct. 5, seeking to extend what is now a 15-game unbeaten streak on the pitch. The Rock are 1-0-2 at James Egli Field this year, most recently defeating California (Pa.) 1-0.

SRU is also playing its first of three straight games at James Egli Field, set to welcome IUP Oct. 19 and Clarion Oct. 26 as part of its second and final three-game homestand this year.

Slippery Rock went 2-0-1 the last time it played three consecutive matches at James Egli Field, defeating IUP and Edinboro, 3-2 and 1-0 before tying Clarion 2-2 last year.

WHERE THEY STAND
SRU currently sits second in the PSAC West with 17 points on five wins and two draws, just one point behind Gannon's 18 points on five wins and three draws. IUP is three points back at 4-1-2 but has played one fewer game than The Rock.

Slippery Rock enters Wednesday's game with an eight-point buffer to Seton Hill, which is the first team out of the top four playoff-qualifying spots.

RECORD WATCH
Patrick and Sarver have both solidified themselves in the top 15 all-time in shots attempted. Sarver jumped past Ashley Rea for ninth place with 141 shots, while Patrick ranks 15th with 114 total shot attempts.

With 56 points, Patrick is now tied for 17th all-time with Lauren Steele. She is eight points out of the top 10, guarded by Jen Canucci and Beth Kimball with 64.

Allman stacks up eighth with 17 all-time wins, third with six career ties and 10th with 10 total shutouts. Now with 30 career starts, the Olmsted Township, Ohio goalkeeper ranks eighth in school history, two starts in net behind Sarah Lacy (2005-09).

All 10 matches this season for UPJ have been shutouts, most recently defeating Clarion 4-0 and falling to No. 7 Gannon 5-0.
