Slippery Rock heads back to Ohio for the third straight week after competing at Kent State and Ashland in each of the last two weeks.

On the men's side, Slippery Rock enters this weekend after tallying four NCAA provisional marks at last week's Ashland Invitational, including two each in the pole vault and the shot put. The Rock enter this meet with five men that own NCAA marks on the year, headlined by
Dan Hyatt in the pole vault. Hyatt leads a trio of SRU vaulters that have the NCAA standard and currently ranks No. 10 in Division II at 4.95 meters.
Bradon Schneider ranks No. 14 (4.90m) and
Drew Layton ranks No. 30 (4.76m).
Joshua Gose leads the way in the shot put and currently ranks No. 19 in Division II with a toss of 16.72 meters.
Seaton Wozniak is just behind at No. 23 (16.52m). Other Slippery Rock men that currently own top 50 marks in Division II include
AJ Virata at No. 25 in the 200-meter dash (21.70),
Bryan Dworek at No. 44 in the long jump (7.10m) and
Zack Duda (No. 29, 4,591 points)) and
Gavin Thomas (No. 49, 4,221 points) in the heptathlon. SRU currently ranks first in the PSAC in just one event with a time of 3:18.52 in the 4x400-meter relay.

On the women's side, pole vaulter
Kendall Grossman is coming off an NCAA provisional mark at Ashland that earned her the PSAC Field Athlete of the Week award this week. Grossman currently owns all three of the best vaults in the PSAC this year and has a season-best of 3.80 meters, which ranks No. 16 in Division II and No. 1 in the PSAC.
Sarah Corrie owns the highest national rank for Slippery Rock this season at No. 15 in the shot put with her season-best of 14.21 meters, which is also No. 1 in the PSAC. The third and final NCAA mark this winter belongs to
Samantha Gilbert with her school record of 7.65 seconds in the 60-meter dash, which currently sits at No. 49 nationally.
Anna Igims also owns a top 50 mark in Division II at No. 36 in the mile (5:00.28) and
Olivia Heckman rounds out the top 50 marks nationally at No. 47 in the shot put (13.05m). Igims owns the fastest mile time in the PSAC and also has the fastest 3,000-meter time in the league (10:15.16).
