MEN'S PREVIEW
The Rock will send 32 men to SPIRE this weekend to compete in 13 individual events and one relay.
 Â
Slippery Rock enters this weekend with 15 field event marks that currently rank in the top 10 among all PSAC athletes this winter, led by a foursome of athletes that have hit NCAA provisional marks this season.
Dan Hyatt is the lone SRU athlete on that list to rank No. 1 in the PSAC with his career-best pole vault mark of 4.76 meters from last weekend.
Bryan Dworek sits No. 2 in the PSAC in the long jump at 7.31 meters, while
John Eakin (17.06m) and
Joshua Gose (16.84m) are No. 2 and No. 3 in the league in the shot put. All four of The Rock's athletes with NCAA marks currently sit outside the top 20 on the national leaderboard and likely need to improve their marks to have a chance to qualify for the National Championships.
Â
Kyle Adams ranks third in the league in the heptathlon (4,376 points) and
Joshua VanDeMark ranks third in the PSAC in the weight throw (18.19m).
AJ Virata is No. 4 in the high jump (1.99m) and
Jakob Graff is No. 4 in the pole vault (4.46m), while
Taye Lynch rounds out the top five PSAC marks in the field ranking No. 5 in the triple jump (13.96m).
Â
On the track, SRU has 12 marks that rank in the top 10 in the PSAC so far this winter, including both the 4x400-meter and distance medley relays that rank in the top three.
