KENT, Ohio – The Slippery Rock University women's indoor track and field team recorded one NCAA provisional qualifying mark, nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference automatic qualifying marks and nine top-15 finishes this weekend at the Doug Raymond Invite at Kent State University.

The meet featured large fields in almost all events thanks to more than 25 colleges entering the competition, including multiple NCAA Division I programs.

Slippery Rock's top performance of the two-day meet came from
Cecily Greggs in the high jump, where the senior took third place with an NCAA provisional clearance of 1.68 meters, matching her season-best. That mark currently ranks 23rd among all Division II athletes and is tied for the best in the PSAC this winter.

The Rock got three PSAC marks and placed four athletes in the top 13 in the pole vault, led by
Kendall Grossman and
Jamie Macecevic tying for seventh place with clearances of 3.49 meters.
Grace Parrett was ninth at 3.34 meters and
Olivia Sentle finished 13th at 3.19 meters.

SRU also got three PSAC marks in the throws from three different throwers.
Sarah Corrie took 15th in the shot put with a career-best effort of 13.14 meters, placing one spot ahead of
Trinity Clark in 16th with a throw of 13.08 meters.
Jena Reinheimer rounded out the top efforts for the throwers in 15th place in the weight throw with a mark of 15.29 meters.

Slippery Rock recorded two top-10 finishes on the track.
Morgan Donatelli led the individual efforts with a 10th place finish in the 400-meter dash in 58.22 seconds. She then teamed with
Madison Olsen,
Lorna Speigle and
Rayna Stevenson to place eighth in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:04.39.

The final PSAC mark of the weekend came from
Ashanti Richardson, who clocked a time of 9.24 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle qualifying rounds. Richardson ended up 26th in the preliminary rounds.

Slippery Rock will travel to Edinboro next Friday for the Edinboro Last Chance Meet, which will mark the final tune-up before the PSAC Championships Feb. 26-27.
