ALL-TIME SERIES
IUP has won the last three games in the series to improve its all-time record against The Rock to 43-26-1. A Slippery Rock victory on Wednesday would mark SRU's first win at Indiana since 2014.

LAST MEETING
Blaise Cugini scored four goals en route to a 5-1 victory for Indiana at SRU Sept. 19, 2021. Erin Roland scored The Rock's lone goal via a Samantha Karmonick assist.

SLIPPERY ROCK PRIMER
Overall Record: 3-4
PSAC Record: 0-1
PSAC Standings: Tied for seventh
Home Record: 1-4
Away Record: 2-0
Streak: L2
Last 5 Games: 2-3

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock opened the PSAC portion of its 2021 schedule with a 4-0 loss to No. 2 West Chester University Sept. 25 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

THE ROCK AFTER DARK
Slippery Rock has done some of its best work in recent years when playing night games. Since the 2014 season, SRU is 7-3 in games that start at 6 p.m. or later. Included in those 10 games is a 3-1 mark against Indiana.

ROAD WARRIORS
SRU has found success away from Mihalik-Thompson Stadium this season as The Rock is a perfect 2-0 on the road in 2021 with convincing wins against Frostburg State (4-1) and Seton Hill (8-0).

While Wednesday's game represents the toughest road opponent SRU has played to date in 2021, a win would give SRU its first three-game road winning streak to start a season since 1988 (33 years). Previously, Slippery Rock has won its first three road games to start a year in 1988, 1976 and 1974. The record for consecutive road wins to start a season is five in 1988.

GETTING TO .500 IN THE PSAC
A win on Wednesday would give SRU a 1-1 PSAC record, marking just the sixth time since the 2000 season that Slippery Rock has begun conference competition with a .500 or better record. The Rock went 2-0 in their first two PSAC games in 2017 in addition to 1-1 records in 2014, 2012, 2003 and 2000.

WHEN SRU IS ON THE ATTACK
Eight different players have scored goals for The Rock this season with Jessie Trube leading the way at five goals for a team-best 10 points. Roland, Leslie Colliver, Katelyn Sparks and Lauren Marks all have two goals while the trio of Jordyn Isner, Bailee Christman and Nadia Irving have chipped in one score apiece.

Isner, who ranks second for SRU in total points at six, leads The Rock, and ranks third in the PSAC, in assists with four. Roland, Colliver, Christman, Irving, Karmonick and Holly Stiller round out SRU's assist leaders at one each.

THE ROCK'S GOALIES
Freshman Grace Burker has started every game this season while playing all but three quarters. Entering the IUP game, Burker has compiled 37 saves, a .712 save percentage and a 2.40 goals against average.

Senior reserve Hannah Nurse has played in two games and has not faced a shot during her 45 minutes of playing time.

CORE SEVEN
Seven Rock players have started all seven games in the 2021 season (Burker, Roland, Irving, Stiller, Karmonick, Kayla Del Vecchio and Addy Ross).

TRUBE CLIMBING SRU'S RECORD BOOK
Trube will head into the IUP game ranked 10th in program history for goals in a career (18) and 13th in total points (38). Trube's next goal will vault her into a tie with Jane Machuga (1975-78) and Dina Pezzimenti (1989-92) for the ninth most points in program history.

YOUTH MOVEMENT
Eight Slippery Rock underclassmen (freshmen or sophomores) have started at least one game for The Rock this season. Of the 11 teams in the PSAC, only Mansfield (12) has had more underclassmen start a game in 2021.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON HAWKS
• After winning five straight games to start the year, IUP suffered its first setback of 2021 on Sept. 25 in a 2-0 loss at nationally ranked Millersville.

• Cugini has shouldered the load offensively for IUP. Through six games, she has accounted for seven of the team's 18 goals. Georgiana Chiavacci (4) and Shelby Harnish (2) are the only other two Crimson Hawks with multiple goals this season. Chiavacci also has five assists.

• IUP, which ranks third in the PSAC in terms of opponent scoring average (1.00 goals per game), features Amanda Zaner in goal. Over 341:28 of playing time, Zaner has made 31 saves with a .838 save percentage and a 1.05 GAA. Indiana has not allowed a goal in the first half this season.
