SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - For the second time in a week, the Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will play Seton Hill University when it travels to Greensburg, Pennsylvania to take on the Griffins in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division contest 2 p.m. Saturday.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
LAST TIME OUT: Slippery Rock fell on the road, 4-0, in a PSAC West night match to Mercyhurst University.
PSAC STANDINGS CHECK: Slippery Rock currently ranks fourth in the PSAC West standings with six points, two points behind third-place Mercyhurst, through 13 matches. The top three teams in the PSAC East and PSAC West standings at the end of the regular season qualify for the conference tournament.
With four games remaining in the season, a win against Seton Hill is vital for The Rock's hopes to stay within striking distance of Mercyhurst, who plays at Pitt-Johnstown, as the Lakers and Rock battle for the final conference tournament bid out of the Western Division.
ON THE ROAD: Of SRU's three road wins this season, two have been shutout victories while their 6-2 victory over UPJ marked the third highest single-game scoring output dating back to 2016.
MO GAME WINNERS: Kanani, has made his way up the SRU career record book, landing seventh for game-winning goals with a total of five since his debut at Slippery Rock in 2018. Two of Kanani's game-winners have come during the 2021 season while his other three came consecutively during the 2019 season.
AGAINST SETON HILL: Five Rock players have made their mark in previously facing the Griffins. Kanani has netted two goals and Fernandez has posted a goal while McCarthy has tallied an assist. Hoffman (2019) and Aly (2021) have each started one game in their careers against Seton Hill, both ending in 2-1 losses, in which Hoffman made five saves and Aly made one.
OFFENSIVE ATTACK: The Slippery Rock scoring efforts are backed by nine different players that have tallied at least one goal this season in Kanani (5),
Ramses Minaya (4),
Alejandro Fernandez (3) and
Arturo Pla Hernandis (3),
Alex Plimmer (2) as well as
Luke Gildea,
Harry Griffin,

Brian McCarthy with three each and rounded out by Pla Hernandis and Minaya with two apiece and

KEEPER COUNT: Goalkeeper
Hossam Aly (4-5-2) has collected 45 saves with a .726 save percentage and 1.46 goals against average. Aly currently ranks second in the PSAC West in saves as well as third in the division in save percentage.
In three appearances this season (158:35),
Derek Hoffman has tallied six saves with a .600 save percentage and 2.27 GAA.

SCOUTING THE GRIFFINS
Last time out: Seton Hill fell, 7-0, at home against non-conference opponent Notre Dame College Oct. 20.
The Griffins are led on offense by Archie Lock with three goals and three assists as well as Fletcher Amos and Anthony Panko with three goals and one assist each. Lock scored twice in the Griffins' win over The Rock on Oct. 16.
In 11 starts, goalkeeper Bobby White has made 41 saves with a .820 save percentage and 0.85 GAA.
