SCOUTING THE ROCK
LAST TIME OUT: Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown played to a 3-3 tie with The Rock scoring all three of their goals in the second half.
 
A LOOK AT THE STANDINGS: With six matches left in the regular season, Slippery Rock holds a two-point lead over Gannon University for first place in the PSAC West standings. The top four teams in the PSAC West and PSAC East standings at the conclusion of the regular season qualify for the conference tournament.
 
Slippery Rock won the PSAC West regular season title in 2019 on the way to a conference tournament championship as well.
 
NO STRANGERS TO SCORING: The Rock has outscored their opponents 32-11 through 12 matches. A total of 10 SRU players have accounted for that accumulation of goals in Rachel Edge (7), Kayla Swope (5), Jordyn Minda (5), Georgia Nagucki (5), Sydney Patrick (3), Megan Sikora (2), Ashley Rea (2), Faith Diffenbacher (1), Julia Mascaro (1) and Olivia Yoder (1).
 
ROUNDING OUT THE ATTACK: Playing part in the attack are 11 Slippery Rock players who have had at least one assist in Edge (6), Swope (5), Mascaro (3), Patrick (2), Minda (2), Nagucki (2), Sikora (1), Emily Arnold (1), Katy Ericson (1), Nina King (1) and Reagan Reeves (1).
 
MIGHTY MINDA: Senior midfielder, Minda, had a strong showing in The Rocks two-game road trip posting goals in each game against Clarion and Pitt-Johnstown. On the year, Minda has scored at least one point in seven of SRU's 12 matches.
 
DEFENSE WINS GAMES: SRU's defense, which allows just 0.92 goals per game, is anchored by senior goalkeeper Emma Yoder. On the year Yoder has made 35 saves to go along with a .761 save percentage and a .071 goals against average. She currently ranks second in the PSAC West in GAA.
 
In the SRU career record book, Yoder sits fourth in shutouts (16) and games started (38) while landing seventh in saves (147). With a win against Seton Hill, Yoder will move up from her current fourth place spot in wins (28) and join Kylie Downs (2015-18) for third place.
 
NATIONAL RANKINGS: Collectively, SRU ranks 13th in Division II in points (89) as well as 12th in assists (25) and goals (32). Individually, Edge remains ranked within the top 20 of assists, claiming the 12th spot.
 
PSAC LEADERS: In the conference, Edge remains first in assists and tied for second in goals as well as points while Swope is tied for third in assists. Swope, Nagucki and Minda all tied for sixth in goals. As a team The Rock boasts the top offense in the entire PSAC with the lead in scoring average (2.667), margin of victory (1.75) and shots (224).
 
SRU CAREER BOOK: In addition to Yoder, three other Rock players are moving their way up The Rock's record book as Edge currently ranks sixth in assists (21), seventh in points (67) and 10th in goals (23). Following is Minda, who moved into 15th for goals (20) and 19th in points (49) following her goal at UPJ. Rounding out the all-time leaders is Swope who claims the 18th spot in assists (14).
 
AGAINST SETON HILL: A vast group of current Rock players have found success in previous meetings with the Griffins including: Edge (3 goals, 3 assist), Minda (3 goals, 1 assist), Swope (2 goals, 3 assists) Ericson (1 goal), Nagucki (1 goal) and Reeves (1 assist).
