The Slippery Rock women’s soccer team will travel to Greensburg, Pennsylvania for a PSAC contest at Seton Hill 2 p.m. Wednesday.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will travel to Greensburg, Pennsylvania for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest at Seton Hill University 2 p.m. Wednesday.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock tied Gannon on the road in Erie, Pennsylvania, 2-2. Skye Kramer and Jordyn Minda tallied scores while Kylie Downs made eight saves in net for The Rock.
 
• THIS LOOKS FAMILIAR – Gannon and Slippery Rock tied on Sunday, once again showing that the pair has been very evenly matched over the years. The series is now tied 11-11-1 
 
• BACK TO WINNING – SRU will look to get back to its winning ways Wednesday. Prior to its draw against Lock Haven last week, Slippery Rock had won four straight contests. The Rock have now tied in back-to-back games for the first time in SRU women's soccer history.   
 
• THE OFFENSE – Minda recorded her fourth goal of the season and leads the team in total points (8) on four goals. Kramer's score was her second of 2018 and she is second on the roster in total points with seven on two goals and three assists. Barackman, Testa and Rachel Edge are tied for third on the roster in points with six apiece.
 
• STILL A DEFENSIVE JUGGERNAUT – Despite two consecutive ties, SRU surrendered just two goals last week. The Rock are third in the PSAC in team goals against average and tied for third in the conference in goals allowed (4).
 
• TRY AND KEEP UP – Both Downs and Emma Yoder have been impressive in net for The Rock this season. Downs is 4-1-1 in six starts on the year with four shutouts, a .867 save percentage and a 0.64 goals against average. Yoder is 2-0-1 in three starts with three shutouts, a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 goals against average.

SCOUTING THE GRIFFINS
• Italia Biondi and Emily LoPresti lead the team in total points with 14. Biondi has recorded six goals and two assists while LoPresti has registered five goals and four assists.
 
• Randi Selbekk and Alyssa Neast are second on the roster in points. Selbekk has tallied five points on two goals and one assist while Neast has managed four on two goals.
 
• Goalkeeper Jessica Neill is 4-2-0 with two shutouts. She's surrendered eight goals on 91 shots faced and carries a 1.14 goals against average and a .852 save percentage.
 
• Last week, the Griffins were ranked 20th in Division II women's soccer. After going 1-1 a week ago, Seton Hill has dropped out of the top 25, but is still receiving votes.
