SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team will close out the 2018 season 3 p.m. Friday with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game against No. 8 Millersville University at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

MAKE-A-WISH GAME
Throughout the last three weeks The Rock has been collecting money to be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. SRU will be accepting donations Friday with all proceeds going directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Kayla Ulrich will end the year as The Rock's leader in both goals and points. Coming into Friday's game Ulrich has already totaled 18 points on eight goals and two assists.

Jessie Trube has a pair of goals over SRU's last four games to increase her season total to five. Trube is in elite company at The Rock as only four other players in program history have scored five or more goals in their rookie years; Ulrich (11), Jenn Kress (eight),

Abby McKay are tied for third on the team in goals scored with three apiece, the goal totals are career-highs for both Page and McKay.

• Page's goal against Bloomsburg occurred just 1:14 into the contest and was the fourth fastest goal to start a game in program history. Known for her quick starts, Page is responsible for two of the four fastest goals ever scored to start a game in school history.

• Erica Tarsi leads the team in both goals (14) and points (34). She is second in assists (six) behind Sol Ortiz-Kreiner (eight).
• Tarsi has scored a goal in four of the past five games, Ortiz-Kreiner follows closely behind with goals scored in three of five.
• Four different goalies have played for Millersville this season. Autumn Peters has seen the most playing time as she has started 12 games, making 36 saves (.766) with a 1.02 goals against average.
• The Marauders rank fourth in the PSAC in goals allowed with 19 while their 49 goals scored are the fifth most in the conference.
