SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team will close out its two-game road trip at Indiana University (Pa.) in what will be its first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game of the season 4 p.m. Wednesday.

• LAST TIME OUT: The Rock fell to No. 8 Bloomsburg University, 1-0, in a close matchup at Steph Pettit Stadium (Box Score).
 
• Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 9-4 in the first half of games this season.
 
• Ulrich leads The Rock with 10 points on four goals and two assists while McKay and freshman Jessie Trube have scored three goals apiece. The trio of freshman Lauren Marks, sophomore Courtney Page and Downing have two goals each.

• Wolfe, Freshman Emily Polakovsky, freshman Alayna Wagner and senior Rachel Ivins round out THe Rock's attack with one goal each. 
 
• Ulrich, Marks, Page, junior Brenna McGovern-Lind and junior Kalie Reed have all passed out two assists.
 
• Wolfe enters the game with 16 career defensive saves, the fourth most by a Rock player in program history. She has recorded three already this season to lead the PSAC, including one in each of the last two games.
 
• Two of McKay's five career goals have come against Indiana (Pa.). Other Rock players with points against IUP over their careers include Ulrich (one goal), senior Hannah Simone (one assist),
 
• Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Murphy is fourth in the PSAC this season in save percentage (.766) and saves per game average 4.50. Murphy stopped six of IUP's seven shots on goal in the first meeting between The Rock and Crimson Hawks this season. Murphy's 10 career wins are already the fourth most by a Rock goalie in program history.

CRIMSON HAWK NOTES
• Senior Selena West leads the Crimson Hawks with three goals this season, matching her total number of goals in all of 2017.
 
• Goalkeeper Olivia Accardi has started all seven games this season. She enters Wednesdays matchup with a 2.95 GAA and a .750 save percentage. 
 
• This is the second season in the last five years that IUP has held a 1-6 record. It last happened in 2013, when the Crimson Hawks rallied to end the season with an 8-11 overall record and a 5-5 PSAC mark.
 
• Kimberly Kelly scored IUP's only goal against Slippery Rock earlier in the year off of a Matti Reightler assist.
