SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's soccer team will seek its third consecutive win in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match against Mercyhurst University 4 p.m. Wednesday at James Egli Field.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock is coming off a 3-0 victory against a California (Pa.).
Sofia Harrison,
Kaitlyn Barackman and
Shannon McIntyre registered goals in the contest while
Kylie Downs registered her fifth shutout of the season.
• COUPLE OF BIG WINS – SRU went 2-0 last week with wins over No. 14 Millersville and California. SRU's upset victory over the Marauders was its second win over a ranked opponent this season.

SPREADING THE WEALTH – Kramer leads the team with 12 total points on four goals and four assists. However,
Jordyn Minda and
Brooke Testa are right behind with 11 points apiece. Minda has five goals and one assist while Testa has three goals and five assists.
• EXCEPTIONAL DEFENSE – Slippery Rock surrendered one goal last week and registered its eighth team shutout of the season. SRU is fourth in the conference in shutouts and fifth in goals against average at 0.84.
• LET'S GET DOWNS TO BUSINESS – Downs remains a force in net this season for SRU posting a 7-4-1 record with a 1.13 goals against average and a .800 save percentage. She is tied for fifth in the PSAC in shutouts with five.

• Maya Fanazini leads the team in points with eight on three goals and two assists.
• Maya Bauer, Maia Russo, Laia Santos, Amata Valentini and Veera Viitikko each have two goals apiece.
• Goalkeeper Vilde World has started all games in net for Mercyhurst tallying a 1.39 goals against average and a .811 save percentage.
• Mercyhurst's two goals in last year's contest were the first goals it has scored against Slippery Rock since 2010.
