LAST TIME OUT - Slippery Rock beat PSAC rival Indiana (Pa.) 1-0 for its first win of 2017. After a scoreless first half, SRU's
Skye Kramer sent a cross into the box for
Julianna Esposito who got it past the keeper to put SRU ahead. The Rock defense did the rest, holding IUP to just two shots on goal en route to the victory.

PASS, SHOOT, SCORE – Kramer's assist on Wednesday was the first of her SRU career. Esposito's goal was her second of 2017 as she currently leads the team with four total points off the two scores.

YOU GET NOTHING – Wednesday's 1-0 victory over IUP marked the first shutout for The Rock at home since Oct. 25, 2016 when SRU beat Seton Hill, 1-0. It was also the ninth time Slippery Rock has blanked IUP in program history.

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE – With the win over Indiana Wednesday, SRU moves to 49-8-6 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Whether at James Egli Field or Mihalik-Thompson Stadium, The Rock is 59-14-5 at home dating back to 2010.

THERE'S A ROCK WALL THERE - The Slippery Rock backline on defense has been stellar thus far in 2017. SRU defenders have limited opponents to just a .118 shot percentage.

HOLDING IT DOWNS – Goalkeeper
Kylie Downs recorded the sixth shutout of her career. All six of Downs' shutouts have come against PSAC opponents. Currently, Downs has allowed just two goals on 19 shots faced.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
• The Mountaineers offense is led by Kersten O'Brien and Alexis Bittel. O'Brien and Bittel have scored one goal each through the first two games.
• Bria Bittiger and Eleni Gebbia have provided the assists on those goals tallying one apiece.
• Mansfield goalkeeper Rachel Fox has allowed just one goal and has recorded 12 saves on 36 shots faced. She is ranked second in the PSAC with a 0.923 save percentage.
• This will be Mansfield's third league game of 2017. The Mountaineers have gone into overtime in each of their two games.
