The Rock made a comeback that came up short in the 3-2 overtime loss. Arran Robertson and Enrique Trevino scored the goals for SRU in the defeat.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock battled Gannon to a 0-0 draw at James Egli Field Sunday. Igor McVeagh, George Oakley, Sean Tinney and Anthony Werth tallied one shot on goal apiece. Jonathan Sharp was phenomenal in goal nailing down his second shutout of 2017 making seven saves on seven shots faced.
 
DRAW TWO – The tie against Gannon was SRU's second consecutive draw. It was the first time since 2012 that The Rock has registered back-to-back tie games. On Oct. 3, 2012 Slippery Rock tied Bloomsburg, 0-0, and followed that up with a 0-0 draw at East Stroudsburg on Oct. 6, 2012.
 
OVER THE HILL – SRU is looking to defeat Seton Hill for the first time since 2012. The Griffins have won four straight contests against Slippery Rock dating back to 2013. In those losses, SHU has outscored The Rock, 9-4.
 
THREE'S A CHARM – Freshman Sean Tinney has recorded three assists this season. He is the first freshman to tally three assists in a season since Chris Davis did it back in 2011.
 
THE SCORERS – Werth and Kyle Boyer are tied atop the team leaderboard in total points with four each, on two goals apiece. Tinney follows with three total points on his three assists. McVeagh has recorded a goal, and Oakley has registered one assist.
 
• SHARPEN YOUR SKILLS – Sharp has been outstanding in net early this year. He currently leads the PSAC in save percentage (.851), ranks third in goals against average (.913) and is tied for third in shutouts (2).

• Louis Mason and Henrik Berg lead the Griffins in total points with eight. Mason has registered two goals and four assists, while Berg has recorded four goals.
 
• Tom Urquhart and Alex Dyson have amassed three goals apiece. Joffe Bradley and John Kenneally have tallied Seton Hill's other two goals with one each.
 
• Austin Iddon has played in all eight games for Seton Hill. Iddon has made 37 saves on 100 shots faced and has a save percentage of .787.
