LAST TIME OUT – The Rock tied Tiffin 1-1 in its 2017 home opener last Friday.
Kyle Boyer scored SRU's lone goal halfway through the first period. Tiffin eventually tied the game to send it into overtime. Neither team took advantage during the extra time as the game ended, 1-1.

THAT'S OUR BOY! – Boyer was able to get one past the keeper last Friday for his second goal of 2017, and second in as many games. Boyer leads The Rock in total points with four on his two goals.

WE'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE – In Slippery Rock's 2-0 win over Lake Erie,
Sean Tinney provided two assists. On Friday, Tinney fed Boyer a pass for the score, giving him his third assist of his SRU career and three assists in two games. Tinney ranks second on the team in total points (three) on his three assists.

ROCK SOLID – Despite the tie, The Rock defense has allowed just two goals this season, tying them for first in the PSAC in goals allowed.

FEELING SAFE - SRU's keeper
Jonathan Sharp has managed 16 saves and allowed two goals which is good for a .889 save percentage, ranking him second in the PSAC. He is also third in the conference in goals against average at .621.

OH, CANADA! – For the first time in SRU men's soccer history, The Rock will travel to Burnaby, B.C. Canada to face an opponent from the Great White North.
