SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Last Time Out: An Indiana (Pa.) goal by Kiersten Zerbe in the fifth minute proved to be The Rock's undoing as IUP held on to defeat Slippery Rock 1-0 on Sept. 17.

• The Mercyhurst game will be the first of three matches The Rock will play this season on the turf at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Slippery Rock went 1-1 in two games last year at the stadium and is 48-7-5 when playing at its alternate home venue since 2002.

• Slippery Rock has outscored Mercyhurst 19-0 in the last four games of the series. The last time Mercyhurst scored a goal against Slippery Rock came seven years ago in a 2-1 loss to SRU.

• Brooke Testa and Maddy Tletski enter Tuesday's game tied for team lead in goals scored with two apiece. Sam Thornton has scored The Rock's other goal this season on a game-winning strike against Millersville.

• Miranda Gallucci's two assists are a Rock-high. Demich and Andrea Felix each have one assist as well to round out Slippery Rock's point scorers through six matches.

• Testa also leads SRU in shots on goal with six; Julianna Esposito is close behind Testa for the team lead with four shots on target of her own.

• Goalkeeper Kylie Downs has started The Rock's last two games and is 1-2 on the season with nine saves, a .750 save percentage and a 0.84 goals against average. Downs is currently ranked fifth in the PSAC in goals against average.

• Elrod is also 1-2 in three starts this year.

• Few players has enjoyed the type of success against one team as Felix has against Mercyhurst over her career. Since her freshman year in 2013, Felix has four goals and three assists against the Lakers. Other top performers historically against Mercyhurst include Demich (three goals) and Keeley (one goal, two assists).
