SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team will welcome sixth-ranked Millersville University at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

LAST MEETING
The last meeting between the two teams was a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference matchup in which Millersville won 3-0. Megan McKay, Renee Rosenblum and Megan Soucy each recorded a shot while goalkeeper Carlee DuMars registered four saves. Kayla Mack also recorded a defensive save.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Millersville owns the all-time series lead against Slippery Rock 31-9-2. The Rock has not recorded a goal against the Marauders in eight straight games. The Rock's last win against Millersville was a 3-1 victory during the 2007 season.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock dropped a 3-1 game at No. 9 Kutztown Sept. 10. The Rock's lone goal came from McKay, while Millersville blanked Seton Hill at home 3-0.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Slippery Rock enters its fifth game of the season with a 2-2 record for the second straight year.
 
• McKay, Rosenblum, Jordan Barnes, Allison Grant, Hannah Simone and Torri Rose are the six goal scorers thus far for SRU. There were only eight total goal scorers for all of the 2015 season.
 
• McKay recorded the 25th goal of her career on Saturday against Kutztown and is now tied with Marlene Hall (1985-88) for the most goals in Rock history.

• Hall's record has stood for the last 28 years. McKay, who already holds the program's all-time points (62) record, leads SRU this season with seven points off of three goals and one assist and has scored goals in each of The Rock's last three games.
 
• There have also been 19 shots taken by McKay, which ranks fifth in the PSAC.
 
• Four players have each recorded one assist for Slippery Rock including McKay, Kailee Krupski, Sam Geroski, and Brenna McGovern-Lind.
 
• The Rock has recorded shots on goal from 12 different players thus far this season including McKay (12), Rosenblum (5), Krupski (3), Castle (2), Barnes (1), Grant (1), Simone (1), Rose (1), Geroski (1), Madison Krajewski (1), Hannah Downing (1) and Kayla Mack (1). Last season, SRU recorded shots on goal from 15 players for the entire year.
 
• Goalkeeper Nicole Bream made a career high 12 saves in 70 minutes played against Kutztown.
 
• Bream ranks fourth in the PSAC in total saves (21) and fourth in save percentage (.808).
 
• As a team, The Rock ranks fifth in the PSAC in goals per game (2.0).
 
• Four of The Rock's next five games will be against teams ranked in the top 10 of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's poll.

• Millersville comes into the game ranked sixth in the nation by the NFHCA.
 
• The Marauders have recorded goals from five different players this season.

• The Marauders have been led early in the season by Aliza Mizak, who has three goals and one assist through three games. Kathleen Bishop is second for Millersville in both points (five) and goals (two) while Arianna Grays, Rachel Cox and Erica Tarsi have all scored one goal each.
 
• A total of 61 shots, 33 which have been on goal, have been recorded thus far by Millersville.
 
• Millersville has a total of eight goals this season and is tied with Slippery Rock for sixth place in goals scored among PSAC schools.
 
• Goalkeeper Samantha Rumler has recorded five saves on 12 shots faced in 2016.
 
• MU holds a 41-11 advantage over its opponents in penalty corners.
