• Slippery Rock enters Saturday's game with its chance to host an opening-round game in next week's PSAC Tournament still alive. If Gannon defeats East Stroudsburg and The Rock beats Kutztown SRU would earn the fourth seed in the conference tournament and host the fifth seed Tuesday.
• Several SRU players had their work on and off the field rewarded this week when Demich,
Tess Keeley and
Maddy Tletski were named to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.
• Demich leads The Rock in both total points (14) and goals (five) and is tied for the team lead with Felix in assists at four apiece. Demich enters the final regular season game of her career ranked sixth in Rock history in career points (73), fifth in goals (31) and second in game-winning goals (12).
• Like Demich, Felix also finds herself ranked amongst the best in program history as her career winds down. She is currently ranked 11th in career points (63), 10th in goals (22) and sixth in assists (19).
• Tletski has scored a career-high four goals this year while Keeley (three), Felix (two),
Tyler Spence (two) and
Brooke Testa (two) have all scored at least two goals on the year as well.
• In addition to Demich and Felix, other Rock players with multiple assists this season include Keeley (two), Spence (two), Thornton (two), Neef (two) and
Miranda Gallucci (two).
• Goalkeeper
Kylie Downs is 9-4-1 on the season with five shutouts, 63 saves, a .829 save percentage and a 0.88 goals against average over 15 games played. She is tied for third in the PSAC in shutouts and is seventh in both goals against average and save percentage.

Haley Burkholder, Thornton and Tletski are the only three Rock players to have started all 17 games so far this season. The trio will carry respective games started streaks of 55, 37 and 36 into the regular season finale.
• Since the 2002 season, Slippery Rock is 48-7-6 in games played at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Slippery Rock is 1-0-1 this year on the turf with a win over Mercyhurst and a tie against East Stroudsburg.
• Felix has one goal and one assist against Kutztown over her career. Demich is the only other active Rock player with a point in her career against Kutztown, she scored the game-winner over the Golden Bears a year ago.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN BEARS

Last Time Out: Kutztown extended its winning streak to six games with a 5-0 shutout of Pitt-Johnstown on Oct. 25.
• Cara Griffith and Maddie Mohr have seven and six goals, respectively to lead KU. Alaina Curry (four), Ashley Engler (three) and Madison McLelland (three) round out Kutztown's top goal scorers.
• In addition to being ranked 14th in the nation by NSCAA, Kutztown is also slotted second in the most recent NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings.
• Goalkeepers Imani Taylor (7-2-0) and Jenna Bracken (7-1-0) have evenly split time this season.
• Kutztown ranks second in the league in goals scored with 36 and third in goals allowed at 12.
