SCOUTING THE ROCK
Last time out: Freshman forward Taylor Sweeney, freshman forward Skye Kramer and junior forward Dara Demich all scored goals to lead The Rock to a 3-0 against Lock Haven Oct. 24.

• Slippery Rock can clinch a PSAC Tournament bid with a win or if California (Pa.) loses to Gannon University. SRU has appeared in the last five PSAC Tournaments.

• SRU also begins the week ranked ninth in the Atlantic Region by the NCAA. However, after going 2-0 last week Slippery Rock will most likely be ranked higher when the new rankings are released Wednesday. The top six teams in the region at the conclusion of PSAC and Mountain East Conference tournaments will earn spots in the NCAA Tournament.

• Slippery Rock's win against Lock Haven was its 10th of the season. The program has now recorded 19 10-win seasons since starting in 1993.

• The Rock begins the week leading the conference in goals scored (41) and being ranked third in goals allowed (11).

• Demich's goal was her team-leading 10th of the season. She is now one goal away from matching her career-high, which she set as a freshman.

• 10 of The Rock's 41 goals this season have come from the freshmen contingent of Kramer (three), Sweeney (two), Brooke Testa (three), Mariah Varner (one) and Julianna Esposito (one).

• Sophomore midfielder Tess Keeley has tallied points in four of SRU's last five games and ranks second on the team in points with 13 off of four goals and five assists.

• Freshman goalkeeper Charlotte Elrod ranks second in the PSAC in shutouts (seven), third in goals against average (GAA) (.681) and seventh in save percentage (.788).

• Slippery Rock has only allowed three goals in the second half of games this season.
