SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Last time out: Matt Sangermano scored a pair of goals off of two Peter Boylan assists to give The Rock a 2-1 overtime win against West Chester University, Oct. 17.

• With just three games left in the regular season, Slippery Rock's path to PSAC Tournament is starting to take shape. Slippery Rock can clinch its fifth tournament bid in the last six years a variety of ways with the easiest way being to win two out of its last three games. Additionally, Slippery Rock will receive a place in the conference tournament with one win combined with two losses by both California (Pa.) and West Chester.

• If Slippery Rock wins all of its remaining games it would be assured of finishing no lower than fourth in the PSAC standings. The top two seeds in the PSAC Tournament have byes in the first round while the third and fourth seeds have the privilege of hosting a first round game.

• The Rock's overtime game against West Chester was their fourth of the season; Slippery Rock is now 3-1 in overtime matches this season.

• Few players in the PSAC have been as hot as of late as Boylan. Through Slippery Rock's first 10 games he had just one goal and two assists, but over SRU's last four matches he has produced one goal and five assists with at least one point in each of the games. He now leads SRU, and ranks second in the PSAC with seven assists while also ranking second for The Rock in total points (11).

• Boylan is one of three Rock players with multiple assists on the season along with junior midfielder Mike Pcholinsky (two) and junior defender Patrick Sullivan (two).

• Senior defender Ryan Lutke leads The Rock in goals with seven followed by Sangermano (four), senior forward Mike Ilodigwe (three), Boylan (two), Pcholinsky (two) and freshman midfielder Justin Minda (two).

• Junior goalkeeper Steven Rerick improved his record to 4-1 on the season after stopping six shots against West Chester. Rerick, who has split time with senior Kyle Hoffer this year, has a .829 save percentage and a 1.17 goals against average (GAA). Hoffer is 5-3 with a 1.05 GAA and a .727 save percentage.

• Slippery Rock enters the week ranked third in the PSAC in goals allowed (17) and fourth in goals scored (24).

• Pcholinsky is the only Rock player with a goal against Seton Hill in previous meetings; he scored his first collegiate goal as a freshman in SRU's 3-2 loss to the Griffins in 2013. However, two other current Rock players are very familiar with the SHU program as Sangermano and junior midfielder Jacob Thiel both started their college careers at Seton Hill.

• No matter what happens over the next two weeks Slippery Rock has already locked up the 49th winning season in program history. Slippery Rock has not finished the season with a losing record since it went 7-8-2 in 2011.
