Ship StatsSLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.- The Slippery Rock University field hockey team meets No. 4 Shippensburg for the second time this season as they welcome the Raiders to Mihalik-Thompson Stadium Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action.

Records: The Rock is 5-8 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC after going 1-1 in conference play last week.
Ship is 8-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference after losing to Millersville and Mercyhurst last week.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock has been outscored by opponents this fall, 32-27, and fallen on the short end in total shots (191-155) and penalty corners (116-85). Junior
Megan McKay leads The Rock in scoring with 29 points on 13 goals and 5 assists, ranking her third in the PSAC in both points and goals. Sophomore
Kailee Krupski has five goals this season, while senior
Courtney Bradshaw has recorded two goals and four assists. Sophomore
Alyssa Castle (3) and freshman
Megan Kane (2) are among the other multi-goal scorers for SRU. Senior goalkeeper
Carlee DuMars has made 87 saves for a 3.11 goals against average and a .737 save percentage.
Scouting The Raiders: No. 4 Shippensburg has outscored opponents 38-16 this season, while posting advantages in total shots (262-109) and penalty corners (139-77). Sophomore Emily Barnard leads her team with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Junior Kendall Beck has five goals and three assists, while junior Katelyn Grazan has four goals and three assists. Both junior Cassie Rawa and sophomore Madison Scarr have 10 points on four goals and two assists. Sophomore Kylie Huffman leads Ship in assists with six. Senior goalie Taylor Webster has got the start in all 12 games. She has made 51 saves for a 1.07 goals against average and a .797 save percentage.
Series: Shippensburg owns the overall series 40-6-1.
Last Meeting: Ship earned a 5-0 win earlier in the season on Sept. 15 at their place. Barnard scored two goals for the Raiders, while Morgan Gantz, Ari Saytar and Brooke Zelders tallied one goal apiece.
